On April 24, 2026, the Bulgarian Institute for Standardization held its regular General Assembly. The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and GS1 Bulgaria are long-standing members of the BIS. Our active participation was recognized with a special certificate awarded to Tsvetana Bratanova, Executive Director of GS1 Bulgaria. The award recognizes her active contribution to the work of CEN/CLC/JTC 24 in developing standards for digital product passports, as well as for promoting the importance of standardization.

The certificate recognizes her commitment to the development of European standards and her contribution to a broader understanding of the role of standardization in supporting digital transformation, sustainability, and product traceability.
