Registration in GS1 Bulgaria
When creating a user profile, you are required to enter basic contact information. After completing the process and pressing the "Register" button, you will receive an email to confirm your registration.
After registering the user profile, log in and select "Register Company". You need to enter general company information, manager details, invoice details, address and company contacts in the registration form.

To mark products with a barcode, you can choose a block of numbers: 100, 1,000, 10,000 or 100,000

For single products, you can choose GTIN 8 or GTIN 13

For location identification, you can choose a single GLN or a pack of 10 GLNs

The introductory membership fee for a company prefix is determined based on the turnover of the company for the previous calendar year and the capacity of the company prefix (block of coding numbers).

When the capacity of the company prefix is exhausted, a new one can be obtained by paying the lowest introductory fee for the corresponding capacity.

100% of the value of the higher membership fee + 20% of the value of the remaining numbers

Use of Product Information

If you are a trading partner, a chain, a developer of online platforms or mobile applications, a regulatory body, etc., and you need reliable information about products, BG Barcode is the right place where you will get reliable information quickly and easily. To do this, you need to register on our platform BG Barcode .

After registering, you get access to basic information and the ability to search for free. To download and use the information, you need to have the appropriate license. You can see the types of licenses in the table below.

After you complete all the registration steps, three documents are automatically generated: Registration Card, Membership Application and Authorized Person Letter. When requesting a block of numbers, you need to attach an Income and Expenditure Statement (RSP) for the past year. Send all documents, signed and stamped, to the address: GS1 Bulgaria, 1058 Sofia, Iskar Street 9 or scanned to email: gs1bulgaria@gs1bg.org. or attach to company profile. The introductory installment is due upon receipt of a proforma invoice, which will be sent to the contact email provided. Please quote the proforma number when paying.
Issued IDs can be used when the business status changes to 'Active'. To achieve legitimacy and uniqueness, each specific product number must be registered in a product catalog BG Barcode. After entering the system and selecting the company name, press Add new product.
